Some of this news may be old to some of you, but I figured I should let the cabin dwellers know. For high gravity selections, Yazoo Sue smoked porter is now bottled. Even better, the recipe has been altered to have more body and the ABV is at 9%. The 4 paks are going quick. Look for my review of it soon! Seasonal
Christmas beers from Lakefront and Schlafly are still available. I also spotted Shipyard Prelude, which is their holiday English Strong Ale. Brooklyn Brewery will be distributing high gravity beers sometime in January. Hopefully that means we will get the Black Chocolate Stout?
For the beer stores, some products from Saranac have hit the Nashville market.Yazoo Hop Project 23 and 24 are in 4 packs for a limited time. New Belgium has some special releases worth seeking out, including the Lips of Faith Biere De Mars and the highly acclaimed La Folie. La Folie used to be a rare and sought after beer, and is held in high regard for sour beer lovers. It sells for $13.99 per 22 ounce, but it's worth every penny if you love sour beers. I will warn you, it's not for the pedestrian palate.
Franklin now has another Brewpub! Battle Ground Brewery located at 108 Bridge Street is now open. The brewer is Fred Scheer, who came from Boscos in Hillsboro Village. From what I understand, they are not brewing on premises yet. The current beer line up was contract brewed at Terrapin Brewing Co. in Athens GA.
That's it for now. If I left out anything, please leave a comment. Cheers!

Have you seen the Brooklyn Black Choc stout in town yet? I just stopped by Midtown Wine etc. today and they did not have it. Had one about a month ago and want another.
I have not seen it yet...sadly. Midtown will send out an email when they get it, and I will post something when it does.
